Depression, anxiety, addiction = ADHD

Professor Phillip Asherson told the annual meeting of The Royal College of Psychiatrists that in may manifest as , , or addiction. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence is expected to recommend the use of stimulant medication for diagnosed with .

Asherson said that it is currently unknown whether the other disorders co-exist with or if manifests itself differently in . Further research is planned to determine whether stimulant medication may be effective in treating and depressive symptoms in .
