Charity begins at home – so does underage drinking?!

A survey of 158,000 youth aged 12 to 20 found that 40% of underaged drinkers were provided with alcohol by an adult. School environment and smoking

A study published in the June 2008 issue of the journal BMC Public Health suggests that the high school environment has a significant impact on students' smoking habits. The quality of teacher-student relationships and their attitude toward school affected smoking rates. The researchers suggested that school-wide interventions could be an effective element of anti-smoking interventions.
